BASEPORT, CAGAYAN DE ORO – The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) – Port Management Office (PMO) of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro successfully convened its annual Procurement Planning Meeting for Calendar Year (CY) 2025 on January 21, 2025, at the PMO MOC GAD Hall.

Key participants included the PMO’s Senior Staff and personnel directly involved in the procurement process, ensuring a collaborative and streamlined approach to aligning the agency’s operational and developmental objectives.

The primary focus of the meeting was to evaluate the procurement performance for CY 2024, highlighting achievements and addressing areas for improvement. Discussions included consolidating Budget Preparation (BP) Forms to allocate resources efficiently while adhering to the provisions of Republic Act No. 9184, also known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, and the updating of the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) for CY 2025.

This initiative reaffirms the PPA-PMO Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and excellence in port management. By ensuring full compliance with procurement laws and regulations, the PMO aims to bolster its role in advancing the development and efficiency of port operations in the region for CY 2025.
