On March 11, 2025, the Agency Account Officer’s (AAO’s) and Electronic Remittance Form (ERF) Handlers Re-Orientation/Premium Reconciliation Workshop was held, organized by the Membership Department in coordination with the GSIS Cagayan De Oro Branch Office. This important activity, which took place from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM at the 10th floor Trade Hall of The Mallberry Suites Business Hotel in Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City, focused on individual compulsory premium reconciliation. The session aimed to provide in-depth discussions on GSIS policies regarding billing, remittance, and other common issues related to the importance of maintaining accurate records for members. Ensuring accuracy in these records directly affects the benefits and privileges available to GSIS members, making this workshop a crucial step in improving the overall efficiency of the remittance process.

The event specifically targeted agency representatives responsible for the preparation and submission of Agency Remittance Advice (ARA) and Service Records. Participants were invited to attend to better understand the procedures for premium reconciliation and the handling of remittance documents. By clarifying the roles of Agency Account Officers and ERF handlers, the workshop sought to reduce common challenges in the submission process and enhance the accuracy of remittances.

PPA PMO MO/C was represented by Ms. Rosy E. Duldoco, HRMO II, Ms. Carmelita T. Dinero, Acting HRMO III, and Ms. Princess Ijysle M. Jalog, Clerk IV, who are responsible for personnel payrolls and remittances. These representatives actively participated in the workshop, gaining further insights into the GSIS processes and ensuring that their agency’s remittance submissions are in line with the required standards.
