The Port Management of Misamis/Oriental Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) continued its commitment to employee well-being and community engagement by actively participating in the Mental Health Seminar and Hybrid Zumba Nationwide event on July 12, 2024.

The event, held at the GAD Hall Building 2, brought together various Port Management Offices nationwide via online platforms, marking a significant step towards promoting mental health awareness and physical well-being among port personnel and their families.

The Mental Health Seminar addressed crucial topics related to stress management, maintaining mental wellness, and fostering a supportive work environment. The seminar aimed to equip participants with practical strategies to cope with challenges both at work and in personal life.

Following the seminar, participants enthusiastically joined the Hybrid Zumba session, blending the energy of in-person attendance at the GAD Hall Bldg 2 with remote participation from other port offices nationwide. Zumba, known for its dynamic and inclusive nature, provided a fun way for attendees to engage in physical activity, promoting cardiovascular health and camaraderie among colleagues across different locations.

As PMO MOC moves forward, initiatives like these serve as pillars in fostering a supportive workplace culture and strengthening community bonds within the port management sector. With ongoing commitment and participation in such events, PMO MOC remains dedicated to the well-being and professional growth of its employees, ensuring a sustainable and resilient maritime industry in the region.
