The Port Police personnel intercepted illegal drugs brought by a truck driver during the security screening at CDO Port’s Access Control Center on 09 September 2021.

Five (5) heat-sealed sachets of suspected methamphetamine (“shabu”) were seized from the suspect along with ten (10) strips of aluminum foils, and disposable lighter.

In coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the suspect was apprehended and charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
