𝐏𝐌𝐎 𝐌𝐎𝐂’𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental (PMO MOC) marked the 2025 Women’s Month with a heartfelt and festive celebration today, March 7, 2025, under the theme, ‘Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.’ This theme highlighted the essential role of women across all sectors and emphasized their contribution to shaping a brighter future for the country.

The day’s activities kicked off with a Holy Mass, a solemn moment that shows gratitude for women and their invaluable roles. Following the mass, a heartwarming program was held at GAD HALL, led by the male employees as a gesture of appreciation. They serenaded all the female employees, filling the air with beautiful music and each woman employee was given a rose, a symbolic token of admiration and respect. This simple but meaningful act of kindness was met with smiles and gratitude, reflecting the deep sense of camaraderie and respect among the employees of PMO MOC.

In the afternoon, the celebration moved to the Passenger Terminal Building, where the PMO MOC hosted a unique program titled ‘Pamaypay at Harana para kay Juana’. The event was designed to spread joy and appreciation to the women passengers traveling through the terminal. As part of the celebration, women passengers were given foldable fans—both a thoughtful gift and a practical one, considering the warm climate. The musical performances, which included a variety of songs, encouraged interaction, and passengers were invited to request their favorite tunes.

The PMO MOC’s celebration of Women’s Month truly embodied the spirit of the theme, showcasing the significance of women in every sector, from the workplace to the community. Through these heartwarming activities, the event underscored the importance of honoring and uplifting women, not only during Women’s Month but every day.
