On January 29, 2024, CPPO Zaldy E. Magtagad, Acting Port Police Division Manager, and the Port Facility Security Officer of PMO-MOC led a comprehensive Maritime Security Awareness Training (MSAT) to port personnel with designated security duties at the Port Terminal Building. This event was attended by 77 participants, including security personnel from providers Advance Forces Security and Investigation Services, Commander Security Services, and the newly appointed Heracles Security Agency for Oroport Cargo Handling Services.

The session delved into crucial maritime security aspects, bolstering the proficiency of security personnel in safeguarding the port facility. The collaborative effort among diverse security providers signifies a unified commitment to ensuring a secure and resilient port environment.

This initiative highlights the continuous training and cooperation needed among security stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of maritime security.
