PMO MOC Celebrates Yearend Assessment and Fellowship Night - PPA PMO Misamis Oriental / Cagayan de Oro

The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) hosted a memorable Yearend Assessment and Fellowship Night at the Pearlmont Hotel on December 19, 2024. Embodied with the theme, “𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐦 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭!”, the event served as a time to reflect on the achievements of the year, celebrate milestones, and foster camaraderie among the team. The festive atmosphere, blending holiday cheer with a casual denim twist, made for an unforgettable evening of reflection and celebration.

The evening commenced with a heartfelt Opening Prayer, followed by the Welcome Remarks delivered by the overall chairperson, Ms. Saerah M. Pascasio. Afterward, the guests enjoyed dinner while the PMO MOC employees were treated to an audio-visual presentation (AVP) that highlighted the milestones and achievements the office had attained throughout 2024.

The night took on an inspiring note when Acting Port Manager Fernando Mapalo Jr. delivered a powerful message centered around the season of giving, encouraging everyone to continue their dedicated service and contribute to the growth of PMO MOC in the coming year. The Chorale Team also showcased their piece to the crowd.

2024 proved to be a remarkable year for PMO MOC, as the team received several prestigious awards for their outstanding performance in various areas. During the event, the hardworking team members were presented with plaques and certificates in recognition of their efforts in making PMO MOC one of the most outstanding ports in the region.

Adding excitement to the festivities was the Aliwan sa Pantalan (APT) Dance Craze, which featured talented performers from different divisions of PMO MOC. The Port Services Division emerged as the overall winner, much to the delight of the crowd.

The event continued with fun games and a raffle draw, where employees had the chance to win prizes while dancing and enjoying the lively atmosphere.

As the night drew to a close, Port Services Division Manager Ruby Maria O. Gumapon delivered the formal Closing Remarks, expressing gratitude to everyone for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. The evening ended with smiles, laughter, and a sense of unity, as the PMO MOC team danced the night away, looking forward to another year of success and collaboration.

This event not only served as a time to reflect on the past year but also as an opportunity to strengthen relationships, celebrate the team’s achievements, and set the stage for an even more successful 2025.
