The Port Management of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) marked a significant milestone as it kicked off its 49th Anniversary celebrations today, April 11, 2024, with a diverse range of activities aimed at fostering community engagement, promoting health awareness, and celebrating achievements. The PMO MOC organized a bloodletting program, a Zumba activity and a basketball exhibition game to commemorate this milestone for April 15, 2024.

In a demonstration of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, PMO MOC organized a bloodletting program as part of its anniversary celebrations. Held concurrently with the seminar, the bloodletting program provided employees and stakeholders with an opportunity to contribute to the community’s welfare by donating blood. The initiative underscored PMO MOC’s dedication to supporting healthcare initiatives and saving lives through voluntary blood donation.

Following the enriching seminar and altruistic bloodletting program, the festivities took on a more lively and active tone with a Zumba activity held at the PPA Building 2 grounds in the afternoon. Zumba, known for its dynamic rhythms and engaging movements, provided a perfect avenue for participants to break a sweat, unwind, and promote physical well-being.

As the sun began to set, the celebration continued with a basketball exhibition game. PMO MOC players showcased their skills against DPWH, eliciting cheers and applause from spectators. The basketball game not only served as a platform for friendly competition but also strengthened bonds within the PMO MOC community and fostered a sense of unity and teamwork.
