In the continuing efforts to help contain and prevent the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) amid increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the province, the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MO/C) concluded a general disinfection activity in its Administrative Building on 22 August 2020 in coordination with the City LGU Disinfection Team.

The Terminal Management Office of Balingoan  also conducted their own disinfection activity during the week.

Since the onset of the community quarantine in March, regular disinfection activities are being conducted in the Port of Cagayan de Oro and Terminal Ports in Balingoan and Camiguin. Additionally, trainings on disinfection were also conducted to the PMO’s utility workers by the personnel of the Cagayan de Oro Health Office last May 2020.
