Cagayan de Oro City – On March 22, 2024, the PMO MO/C personnel persisted in taking part for the third time this year in the LGU’s City Wide Clean-up campaign: Klarex nga Kalimpyo sa Kadalanan ug Tugkaran. The monthly clean-up drive was enthusiastically participated by a total of fifty (50) participants from the Engineering Services Division (ESD) personnel, Port Services Division (PSD) personnel, Passenger Terminal Complex (PTC) personnel, OroPort, and Macajalar Wharf Porters Association staff members at the Port Area of Cagayan de Oro, specifically at the Power House and Greenbelt Area 2.

Moreover, a total of 425 kilos of waste ( 17sacks at 25 kilos per sack) were collected

The aforementioned event is in continuing implementation of PMO MOC’s of Green Port Award System and in pursuant to Republic Act 9003 or known as “Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.
