Ten (10) body-worn cameras together with its docking station and server computer were installed in the PMO MO/C Port Police Division on 12 February 2021.

The body-worn cameras enable high-definition video recording and real-time transmission of footage from the event site to the server, thus will aid the security force to promptly report and respond to incidents in ports.

An orientation was also conducted to the Port Police personnel. Individual sim card is issued for each Port Police for the transmission of recording from their respective camera.

Port Police personnel assigned in the Terminal Ports will be also issued with the said body-worn camera to help bolster their monitoring and surveillance in their respective area of responsibility.
