The OSS for International Seafarers Crew Change Hub of Cagayan de Oro facilitates operations of three foreign vessels plying at the CDO Port for the last quarter of CY 2022.
MV PENINSULA IX arrived at the Port of Cagayan de Oro on 07 October 2022, with two (2) Filipino Seafarers set for crew change. It was followed by MV KIDDI CABLE INFINITY which arrived at the port on 24 October 2022, with only one (1) Filipino Seafarer set for embarkation. MT GOTLAND ALIYA followed shortly after on 30 October 2022, this time with two (2) Foreign Seafarers disembarking from the said vessel. Meanwhile, members of the OSS Cagayan de Oro devoted almost an entire day for MV BULK CASTOR on 09 November 2022, with nine (9) Filipino Seafarers for embarkation and another for disembarkation.
Member-agencies of the OSS Crew Change Hub of Cagayan de Oro, namely, Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de oro (PMO MO/C), Marine Industry Authority (MARINA), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), Office of Civil Defense (OCD), Bureau of Immigration (BI), Bureau of Customs (BOC), Department of Health (DOH), PNP Maritime Group (RMU 10), Coast Guard District of Northern Mindanao (CGDNM), and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) are always ready to perform their functions in every crew change operation, as stipulated in the protocols.
