In line with the implementation of OPLAN BIYAHENG AYOS: HOLY WEEK AND SUMMER VACATION 2025 starting April 13, 2025, the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) has intensified its security measures to ensure the safety and security of the public.

In preparation for the anticipated influx of passengers this Holy Week and Summer Vacation 2025, PMO MOC has carried out proactive measures to maintain the smooth flow of services.

Under the leadership of the Acting Port Manager, several activities were undertaken to ensure the safety of passengers and the orderly operation of terminals during the long holiday:

The Acting Port Manager led inspections of the ports under PMO’s jurisdiction to assess the readiness of terminals for OPLAN Biyaheng Ayos: Holy Week and Summer Vacation 2025. These inspections are part of PMO’s ongoing efforts to ensure traveler safety, security, and comfort. The inspection team evaluated the condition of facilities, equipment, and manpower to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, identify operational issues, and implement necessary actions. Ports in Balingoan, Benoni, Balbagon, and Guinsiliban are preparing for the surge of passengers to ensure a safe, orderly, and comfortable travel experience for both people and cargo.
