The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/ Cagayan de Oro welcomed a team from the Presidential Radio and Television Malacañang (RTVM) on 18 March 2019, who took an onsite note of the progress of the soon-to-be completed construction of the modern Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), one of the PMO’s seven (7) projects dubbed as the “Seven Pillars of Development.”
The Presidential RTVM, as the entity mandated for the official documentation of the President’s official functions and activities that includes the production of broadcast materials to highlight the programs for nation-building for the people’s information and awareness, covers projects across the country that are in line with the Department of Transportation’s program, “Duterte Express,”. This program primarily aims to provide improved and better transportation service and facilities to the commuting public. For Mindanao, the RTVM is set to feature Cagayan de Oro, zooming in the modern PTB in the Port of Cagayan de Oro.
