To help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) in ports, the PMO MO/C initiated the installation of handwash stations and footbaths in its Administrative Buildings.

Handwash stations were first installed in Building 1 where the PMO’s Assessment, Billing, and Cashier Unit (ABCU), Marine & Terminal Sections, and Permits & Licensing Office are located, that cater to several clients and/or port users in any given time. Additionally, footbaths were placed at the main entrance of the building. Footbaths were also situated in the entry and exit doors of Building 2.

The said facilities were crafted and installed by the PMO’s own Engineering Services.
