Cagayan de Oro – In celebration of beauty, advocacy, and community spirit, eleven (11) charming and charismatic Miss Puntod candidates graced the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MO/C) this morning, August 25, 2023. These young women, each with their unique advocacies, came together to support their community in preparation for the annual fiesta, held this year under the theme “Bridging the Gap and Promoting Camaraderie, Sportsmanship, and Unity.”

 

This year’s Miss Puntod PPA candidates have stepped forward with a diverse range of advocacies, each one driven by a deep passion for change and a commitment to making Puntod an even better place. Each candidate passionately presented their unique advocacy in front of the Port Manager, Bong Butaslac Jr. and to the Division Managers. The advocacies spanned a wide range of issues, from environmental conservation, mental health, sportsmanship, education, healthcare accessibility and women empowerment.

 

The upcoming coronation on September 8, 2023, promises to be a celebration not only of beauty but of compassion, dedication, and the potential for positive change in Puntod. One of these remarkable young women will be chosen as Miss Puntod PPA, carrying forward her advocacy and making a lasting impact on the town. This event strengthens the partnership and collaboration between LGU, PPA and its neighboring communities.
