Port of Cagayan De Oro – The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Northern Mindanao Field Office representatives, Mr. Dominic I. Sanchez and Ms. Daphne B. Lunsayan, visited the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro to conduct orientation on ARTA’s mandates, power and functions on Wednesday, 08 February 2023.

Port Manager, Isidro V. Butaslac, Jr., Head of the PMO Sub-Committee on Anti Red Tape (Sub-CART), presided the orientation/meeting. ARTA’s powers, functions composition of the CART, sanctions and penalties of non-compliance, among others, were highlighted during the briefing. Likewise, the PMO Sub-CART, presented the PPA’s Citizens Charter and the PMO’s initiatives and programs. Clarifications/ queries raised by the members of the PMO- Sub-CART were addressed by the ARTA Representatives.

Moreover, Mr. Sanchez, expressed his appreciation to the PMO for pro-actively initiating programs and consistently implementing its processes in compliance with Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act.

The ARTA is currently visiting various government agencies within the Region to conduct series of orientations/briefings on CART in order to empower and enforce the Agency’ functions and to increase awareness on the government’s thrust for Bureaucratic Efficiency.
