The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) TMO Camiguin hosted a Pre-Construction Meeting for the Port Expansion Project at the Port of Guinsiliban. The event was attended by the Acting Port Manager of PMO MOC, Engineering Services Division senior staff, PCMD senior staff, Jejors Construction engineers and LGU Guinsiliban representative.

This meeting marked a significant step in the development of the Port of Guinsiliban, aiming to enhance infrastructure and services to support the region’s trade, commerce, and transportation needs. The collaboration between PPA and the local government underscores their commitment to fostering progress and connectivity in Camiguin while maintaining and protecting the marine biodiversity in the area.

The PPA senior staff and the engineers of Jejors also decided to visit the ongoing construction of the Light Craft Landing Station for an ocular inspection to thresh out an issue on the gate complex affected by the construction of the Lagoon Bridge. The elevation of the bridge will cover the facade of the gate complex, hence, the need to tweak the orientation of the gate complex so that the access to the facility is still optimized.
