The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro conducted training on Values Enhancement, Work Productivity and Anti-Human Trafficking to a total of fifty-three (53) participants composed of regular employees, technical and administrative support personnel and janitorial/utility workers on 11-12 September 2019 at the PMO Building 2 GAD Hall.
According to the resource speaker, Fr. Mars P. Tan, Ph.D. of Xavier University—Ateneo de Cagayan, the positive traits of each employee contribute largely to the work accomplishments of an organization/agency. Thus, it must be strengthened through constructive approach of training that provide learning for personnel to be motivated and challenged to work more efficiently. Fr. Tan emphasized that each one is significant in the delivery of quality, efficient and effective public service.
As learning and development is a never-ending process in order to serve fellow Filipinos and work towards nation-building, the PMO shall continue to provide training for its employees for their personal development to be better public servants. — EM Yee
