Cagayan de Oro – The Port Management of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) has successfully navigated its IMS Second Surveillance Audit, held from September 09-11, 2024. This rigorous assessment was conducted to ensure the continued effectiveness and compliance of its management systems with the ISO standards for Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety management.

The primary objective of this surveillance audit was to maintain confidence that PMO MOC’s management systems continue to meet the requirements established during previous certification audits. This is a crucial step in ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards and the continuous improvement of operations.

The audit concluded on a highly positive note. The results include Three Positive Findings and Zero Major Non-Conformity. In light of the audit results, PMO MOC has been recommended for the continued certification of its management systems under the following ISO standards: ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

These certifications highlight PMO MOC’s commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, environmental stewardship, and workplace safety.
