The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) has recently received a substantial allocation of air conditioning units from the Philippine Ports Authority Head Office on January 27, 2024.
A total of 42 units was installed all over the PMO’s jurisdiction. The provision includes 11 units of 2.5HP window type air conditioners, 3 units of 2.5HP split-type air conditioners, and 28 units of 5-tonner floor-mounted air conditioners.
The installation of these air conditioning units reflects the PPA’s commitment to prioritize the welfare of its workforce and to uphold the highest standards of operational efficiency across its various port management offices. Moreover, these energy-efficient air conditioning systems aligns with broader sustainability goals, reducing energy consumption and minimizing the environmental impact associated with cooling operations.
